Małe kroki. Bez plastiku.

An old dear friend of mine, Katarzyna Nadia Walczak, is running an Instagram profile about simple habit shifts for more sustainable everyday life. This is a subject extremely close to my heart which makes reading her words a song to my soul.

Her first book, which I had pleasure to design and illustrate, stands for avoidance of single-use plastics, mostly caused by not being proactive enough about stopping the plastic from getting in our hands in the first place.

Two years ago, the World Economic Forum put out a report stating that by the year 2050 there would be more plastics in the ocean than fish. The problem with plastics is that they break down into increasingly microscopic pieces, but they don’t disappear. Cutting out single-use plastic is one huge step in the right direction, and Katarzyna’s book can help you with that.

The past several years, and going forward, I’m trying to be more vocal about my requests to go plastic-free. Helping Katarzyna with this book is my way and… it feels great!
