Project: Guidance for the Implementation of Climate and Energy Dialogue Platforms — policy guide for six EU Member States

The Challenge

Six EU Member States. 38 climate and energy dialogues. A framework that had to work for national ministries, regional authorities, civil society groups, and energy practitioners, all at once. The content was rich: policy assessments, step-by-step guidance, best practices, ready-to-use templates. The risk was a document that only the people who wrote it would ever read.

The Strategy

I built a visual structure around the four-step methodology at the heart of the guide, making the journey through the document as logical as the framework itself. Clean typography, strategic colour, and a navigation hierarchy that let readers jump in wherever they needed. Practical materials — invitations, participation agreements, Memorandums of Understanding — were designed to be pulled out and used immediately, not just referenced.

The Impact

Launched at the project's final event on March 17, 2025, under a tight deadline coordinated across content teams, designer, and printer. The guide is now a living resource supporting EU Member States as they build and refine their governance platforms. The people who need it can find what they need in it. That's the whole point.
